Bubble tea, tea houses, Asian bakeries and dessert shops in this group are usually walk-in, counter-order businesses with a menu board overhead listing sweetness and ice levels you can adjust when ordering. Standard bubble tea customization includes sugar level (0-100%), ice level, and a choice of toppings like boba pearls, pudding or jelly, usually at a small extra charge. Asian bakeries sell items individually with tongs and a tray, cafeteria-style, rather than pre-boxed, and pastries are typically less sweet than Western bakery items. Lines build up quickly after school and in the evening, especially near colleges. Most of these businesses accept cards and mobile pay and skew younger in clientele and atmosphere.

Torrance is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around Torrance is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

We ordered our cake for my son's birthday and gave a picture for reference. They went above and beyond expectations! The cake turned better than the picture I gave them. The flavors were delicious and the cake was so moist. My family has used this bakery since I was a kid and we will continue in the future. They are hands down the best bakery in the area.

Just wonderful! Torrance Bakery provided desserts for our wedding through our venue. We went with a marble layered sheet cake, cheesecake bites, brownie bites, chocolate chip cookies, and fudge chews!! The desserts were an absolute hit. One of our friends said he had 6 of the fudge chews! Isabel was an absolute pleasure to work with, what a true professional she is. Thank you to Kirk and his wonderful team at Torrance Bakery!

They need better packaging and more organized service here. Itβs chaotic. I came to look for Motherβs Day treats for my mom and boyfriendβs mom. I asked if they have chocolate dipped strawberries and the answer was no. Fair enough if they donβt sell them. I took a moment to see what other options they had and I settled for the Lina cupcakes which have piped flowers on them so they are more expensive than regular cupcakes. I was told they have them in vanilla and chocolate, so I asked for one of each. When I was about to pay they asked if I wanted a bag and I said yes but the employee expressed concern that they would move around in the plastic bag and get the flower frosting decoration ruined while inside their plastic holders. In the process of this, they slipped from her hands a bit and sure enough the frosting was a bit ruined on the sides of their plastic holders. They switched my cupcakes into new plastic holders. I said fine, no bag. I walked out with one in each hand and noticed they were both chocolate so I went back inside and asked them to give me a vanilla one as I requested. This other employee came back and said they donβt have vanilla. I told her I was told that they

They were part of our wedding package at Wedgewood Weddings. The employees are knowledgeable and they helped us with our options and solutions to some of our issues. The cake came out perfect for our wedding last year. The fresh strawberries are worth it. All their cakes were so good during the taste test.
